The 2015 Acura TLX comes standard with heated seats. But if you want a heated steering wheel, you're out of luck.

I've driven a few vehicles with heated steering wheels. So far, I've found that GM doesn't have a very good one (thought they have excellent heated seats) and that Nissan has the best heated steering wheel. It's a nice feature and it should be available on the TLX.

First World Car Journalists Problems...meanwhile, I'm just thankful if I don't have to spend half an hour chipping ice off a windshield during the four-eight days a year that Texas gets ice. Followed by, praying that the rednecks (some of whom I'm probably related to) that think a 4x4 Dually Diesel means you can still go the speed limit on iced over roads don't slam into me while I'm trying to get from Point A to Point B.

You can add Subaru WRX and STI owners to that here in Oregon.

I've long been a proponent of heated seats for their year-round value in making long drives more comfortable, but I'm skeptical of how much value a heated steering wheel provides outside of places where below-freezing temperatures are common. If there's appeal beyond that would someone explain the value?

They'd be great if you have a touch of arthritis or Raynaud's. I don't but I'd still like one here in NM, at least a few months out of the year.

Heck, I use my heated steering wheel just to provide hand comfort after a hard day of work.

I think the Canadian models offer this feature in the V6 trim...but yeah Acura has a lot of catching up to do as evidenced by the 2016 Accord.

It may be lacking a heated steering wheel but it has many standard features that would be optional on a BMW. How much extra are LED headlights?
