Stability tracking

I am nearly in tears again after reading these posts about a recurring issue that is not being addressed by GM. So the first time I experienced my near death experience was in October on a rainy heavy fast traffic road. Out of nowhere all the lights came on engine power reduced, and car jerking happened and I was forced off the road after nearly getting hit. After that dramatic and traumatic moment I had to get myself together and call onstar for them to run a diagnosis of the problem. She asked if I was ok I said just a little shaken. She ran the diagnosis and a code poped up with relating to stability tracking but she said that you could take it in but it was not necessary. I went to the owners Manuel and it stated to turn off the vehicle let it sit and then turn it back on. I did that and the problem went away. I was able to drive it just fine like nothing ever happened. I mentioned it to the dealership and the said if there isn't a message then it would be hard to detect why the issue. You almost have to be driving and have the issue happen and bring it in. REALLY! Whose going to be there after hours. I felt as if they were eye could not find brushing me off because I have had other issues and they can't diagnose it without the problem occurrinG right then and there. Well the same issue with all lights displaying and stability tracking, power reduced, and car jerking and me being forced off the road at 6;00 AM in the dark trying to get two kids to school. We have always had GM vehicles. This is our 4th one. I had two tires replaced yesterday hoping it may solve the problem since it seems to happen when its raining and it was time to get them. The car was perfect problem solved right? WRONG! I started the car at 6:00 AM like I normally do and Bam same thing happened lights came on, car was jerking, engine power being reduced. Luckily I was in my driveway. I turned it off waited a few minutes and turned it back on and it was fine. Oh it's not raining and the roads are dry. I started trying to take my kids to school and I could not even make it in the next street when it happened AGAIN. I had to use the 2010 Tahoe which is on its last leg. As I was driving kids to school in Tahoe, I had my daughter look up recalls and forums with this same issue when we discovered this site. Wow, I got even more upset and rally feel like I have a lemon because lots of people in my same shoes are having this problem with a variety of Chevy makes models and years. I feel like calling a TV Station to put it out there because clearly this is an issue that GM Zias paid for in the past but now won't is what I am gathering from these posts. I don't have money to sink into this lemon. No wonder I kept getting letters from Chevy offering to buy my car, never in the past had I ever received such a letter "your car is in demand and we want to buy it from you" I thought that is strange. I will try GM first and move from there to the media. I feel my truck is putting myself and family at risk and I am scared now to drive it. I use my car to make me money and now I can't. I am beyond tears and frustration.

What year/model Chevy is the one that's jerking? Another Tahoe or something else?
