This is important because in order for plug-ins to become mainstream cars that look like science projects won't cut it. The Leaf 2.0 will need to improve upon the middling looks of Leaf 1.0, but make substantial improvement to range to make it more livable.
As a former Leaf owner, I'm past the early adopter phase myself. My next EV/hybrid needs to have few - if any - compromises, including price. So I'm looking forward to your reports on this car's performance in everyday life.
So kudos to GM for a really nice exterior design, but a raspberry for that stupid giant center console in the back that renders the seat only marginally better than when there was no center position at all.
