Automatic tranny trouble.

hello, I am a new guy with a warning. If you are told your 2008 Impala`s automatic tranny needs $1800. to $2200. worth of work because of lagging from a stopsign, (like the clutches are slipping), and then slamming into gear and going, make sure you add a half bottle of Lucas transmission fix and give it a try. It is GREAT stuff and saved us the money of the bid. I will find a new mech. shop because I feel they should have told me about lucas before writing me that large-size bid. (they said that trouble is "quite common" to that model), so they should have known about lucas tranny fix. I am VERY disappointed in a shop I thought I could trust. just beware.
