Say, this morning my CRD Liberty did not like to start in this 32 degree weather. I bought the Liberty in 2006 and until now I did not know it had a block heater like my 2300 dodge diesel. I went on line and low and behold I found out that there is one. Thanks for the info on this web sight. The heater draws 3.4 amps at 120 Volts. The cord was tied up to the engine oil dip stick tube.

Those cords can be well hidden. Have you been plugging in your Dodge? I thought the old gelling issues were over for newer diesels. When I lived up north, I only plugged my gassers in if it was getting down below 15-20°F.

I'm flying out to Chattanooga via ATL in a few days - I'll try to bring you some warmer weather, but it's none too warm here at the moment either.
