Interior lighting issues

I just purchased a use 03 Pilot and there are a couple of interior lighting issues. When int. light switch is set to door lights will not shut off after all doors are closed or when the engine is started? 2nd issue is the light dimming function for the instruments will not work either way, dimming or intensifying. An ideals on either one.
