Hello. Need help with a problem I'm having with my 2009 Colbalt LT, Bought car with 22k on it, not one problem till I hit 58k. That's when it all started, and this problem is intermittent. All of a sudden every trouble light will come on, it will also display, Power steering, ABS, Low Fuel, all the dials will drop back to zero and starts to run rough, loss of power and will not shift, After pulling over to the side of the road, Shut off car and restart, it all goes away and runs fine,
If you have experienced this with yours, Any help would greatly be appreciated

Thank you

The instrument cluster will display the warning lights for any modules that stop communicating with it as well as for those that set a trouble code. All of those lights combined with the transmission not shifting strongly suggest that something is disrupting communication. To get started, you need to pull codes from all of the modules on the car. List all of the "U"XXXX codes first and which module set them and pay particular attention to codes like B1370-B1379, B1380-B1389, B1440-B1443, B1424,B1517, which are all variations of ignition or battery power low. Modules like the ABS and Airbag typically will be the most sensitive to system voltage issues and quite often code first.
