    So basically, the Honda Pilot is an automotive version of a 5 year old that has discovered your phone has apps (games) and wants access to it. Every time you say "no", the Pilot just waits a little bit and asks again. Fair enough.

    It looks like it is asking for permission for each message thread.
    For the second issue, is the phone is receiving the commands directly before it is received though the Audio/Bluetooth system? this would cause the phone to play the call on the phone. if you put the phone in the console or glove-box does it have the same issues?

    I went from an iPhone 6 to the 6P and couldn't be happier with the change.

    Interesting thought. Unfortunately the issue fixed itself before I could test it.

    Better still, don't consider doing ANYTHING with phone in ANY car. Problem solved.
