A plan to fix Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche vehicles with 3.0-liter diesel engines that skirt U.S. pollution rules with illegal emissions software was submitted on Tuesday to the California Air Resources Board and the Environmental Protection Agency.

    I find it interesting how coy VW are about what the actual fix is and how it will work. If I owned an affected VW vehicle, that "pig in a poke" approach wouldn't work with me.

    I'd persuade VW to assist with a switch to a totally different vehicle in their line-up which is not affected by the issue at hand.
