I'm curious to see what Hyundai comes out with for the Elantra Sport. The compact sedan category could use more sport-edition models with enhanced power and handling. They appeal to enthusiast drivers on modest budgets. Hyundai's recent track record in this area is not too great, though. Look at the Sonata Sport 2.0T, which with a 245hp turbo engine still takes over 8 seconds to reach 60mph, actually lagging behind the 2.4L NA engine in the base model in Edmunds' test.
