Looks like it was put together by 5 different design teams that never talked to one another...and, it also looks exactly like the Infinity with a Nissan Titan (last gen) front.

Exactly. I was thinking unkindly that it looks like a Chinese imitation of a Nissan. Very disjointed, unattractive, and cheap looking. The fake fender vents are absolutely heinous.

This isn't a new product for Nissan. It's the Nissan Patrol which has been sold in the Middle East for years. They're very capable vehicles on and off road, just not new.

Ummmmm, yeah. This is the QX56 or QX70 or whatever numbering system Infiniti is using now, and it was introduced a few years ago. Seriously, it took them 3 years to make that disgusting grill and 90's Eddie Bauer-looking two-tone paint? Yikes. Nissan needs to drop those stupid looking grills with the excessive chrome as well as the chrome out-of-place looking do-dads and simplify the looks of their vehicles. Sheesh man.

Showing the Armada in 'action' on a surface that I can ride my skateboard on is not very impressive.

Is there any mfg out there that has more ugly vehicles in its fleet than Nissan? Is Homer Simpson still designing cars?

So it took Nissan 3 years to make a Nissan version of the QX56/QX80/whatever and they did THIS? Wow. Nissan should patent ugly so they can keep it all to themselves.

You guys commenting like you don't have a family. You need a beautiful car, go check volvo, but you can't fit your family, all the stuff in there. For a big family, to date, Old Honda Pilot is awesome, but no one calls it good looking, except those that need large interior. The new Armada is way better than those new Pilot, Pathfinder SUV's that are 4 door minivans. An SUV suppose to be is squared, the rest are just fake cars. And this car will be made in Japan.

I don't think this vehicle's exterior design is so bad. To me it looks like a TLC recast with Nissan design cues. I like the fact that Nissan kept it as a truck, with body-on-frame construction. Now let's hope they do the same with the Xterra instead of canceling it, or worse, turning it into yet another tall station wagon.

Wow I have to agree with allot of what was said above. Very much all over the place. I just quickly glanced and thought it was just the infiniti with a nissan truck front clip. However it looks like they through all types of rounded blocking at the rear end. Kind of like when you ask a kid to draw a profile of a car with BUMPERS. Honestly the front clip of the infiniti is not great looking but at least it has some flow past the A Pillar.
