    Incorrect. No-one is going to cross shop a $230,000 Range Rover with a Nissan, Toyota or Audi.

    How about the new Bentley SUV? Personally I think Range Rover overextended on this one. Because why would you buy a Rover that looks to most people just like the $100K version, over the Bentley SUV for the same money? At this market point it is all about prestige.

    In the mass market, Bentayga would likely be chosen over a Range Rover in these tacky nouveau riche times - those fancy VAG products are still pretty trendy. However, Rover has enough old school loyalists to eventually buy out the allotment.
