Curious to see how this does for Chrysler. It's definitely a looker and has some nice things going for it. I would consider it if I were in the market right now for a minivan.

I’m currently in the market for a minivan. My wife and I are expecting child number 3 this summer. I was pretty much sold on the Toyota Sienna, but now I just have to drive the Pacifica before I pull the trigger on the Sienna. It looks quite nice and I’m curious to see how much, if any, I’ll save if I choose the Pacifica instead. My biggest concern is the driving dynamics. That’s what sold me on the Sienna over the Odyssey. I don’t want to feel like I’m driving a school bus…

Reviews look good for this new model. I priced a basic L model Pacifica with the added safety package and upgrade 17' wheels for 31k excluding tax and dmv fee's. Looks like a lot of van for the money here. I think the driving dynamics will be very good on this model.

Here are the red flags on this van: Reliability is still not good on Chryslers products , Resale value after 4 or 5 years will be terrible if you sell or trade in. If you plan on running it to the ground then it wont matter . Post back thoughts on your Pacifica test drive.

I know folks who I helped buy the Toyota Sienna. 2006,07,09, 12, 14,15, 16, Every one mentioned still have vehicles and love them. The 2006 to 09 year owners claim very little to no problems with there models.
