Why do some dealers show free Carfax on some of their cars only?

I'm looking at used Camry's and some are showing free Carfax while a few cars (that I'm interested in) don't.
Are dealers trying to hide something about the cars without free Carfax reports?

Probably just isn't part of their marketing plan. I've always had good luck with dealers sharing a Carfax or AutoCheck with me. Easy enough to ask.

Sometimes you'll get an email back with the salesperson's summary or a partial report, but I don't think that's common.

Just keep in mind that Car Faxes are often incorrect. Some accidents never show up and a key scratch can trigger an ACCIDENT REPORTED!
