I liked the old shield grill better. In its last iteration, it was sharp, handsome and distinctive (previous iterations were somewhat heavy-handed). This new grill looks bland and generic.

Wow alsas that was exactly what I was thinking totally Kia, plus the inside looks like Hyundai...IDK there is absolutely nothing wrong with this car and tech except that with the exception of the Hybrid Drive train this does not feel special, or look special. It certainly does not look luxurious. The seats look nice (have liked the look of Acura seats for awhile), but the rest of the design of the interior is so busy. Again I am sure this will drive great, but why not make it Hybrid Touring Elite Pilot, I mean I was pricing out Crossovers and the Explorer and Hybrid Highlander easily go into mid $50k's. To me Acura lacks a premium feel. It has a very strong design language, but that language feels heavy not effortless. If I was doing the duties of 90% of teh buyers for mid size crossovers (hauling kids and groceries around town and an occasional Highway Trip, Give me the New Mazda CX-9 Signature. Nappa leather rosewood Trim and an interior/exterior that coincide and flow..... I know Acura will eventually blow past me off teh line (Mazda 's 310 Ft lbs will make the first 30 MPH interesting), but if that is what you are looking for get the Porsche.
