Replacing MDX Outside Mirror Housing on a 2012
Anyone do this? My mirror was knocked back damaging the housing. Have ordered a replacement housing from an Acura parts site and would like to replace it myself. The insides and lamp are not damaged, just the housing and it is broken where there are attach points - can't be repaired hence the replacement parts. I don't want to damage the thing further by breaking something pulling it apart. Right now the forward facing half of the housing is taped on and backward side with the mirror inside is still intact and attached. Please advise.
