Wow, is it not available on any trim level? If not, that's pretty pathetic since that technology has been around for a long, long time.

My truck has a few more settings than that, but it doesn't matter anyways. It seems that precipitation refuses to consult my vehicle's owner's manual to fall at the correct rate to be "just right" for whatever setting I'm using. One setting always seems too slow, so I bump it up one notch, and it's too fast. I've tried adjusting vehicle speed to get it to compensate (the faster the speed, the quicker the build-up between swipes) for wiper speed, but it never works out right. I've firmly decided that the only solution is to drive fast enough to create a barrier of fast moving air that blows water off the windshield like aircraft do. The local law enforcement agents are not as supportive. Particularly when it's raining and they have to write the ticket(s).

RainX + low setting works almost every time and prevents wiper abrasion... don't mean to sound like an informercial, just saying :)

Correct. Most times with intermittent rain and Rain-X, you don't even need to use the wipers.

Or even a cleaner with repellent like invisible brand glass cleaner. Works really well for two in one.

Little details like this are why long term blogs are useful. I'm sure no one checks the wiper settings when they're buying a new car. You guys should point out things like wiper and headlight performance on all vehicles,
