2013 Prius dashboard light malfunction

Hi, recently purchased this vehicle used. Have had no problems until today, when my dash lights did not come on at first, and blinked off and back on a couple of times when cornering. I'm a little alarmed since I did not choose to purchase the extended warranty. Could this be a serious repair?
