My 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 has rattling noises coming from the front of Transmission

I have a 5.2 liter with an auto trans. The noise sounds like a catalytic converter rattle when they go out. I put it in drive and it rattles. In reverse, it rattles, and in park, it completly goes away. I removed the inspection plate and checked all the torque converter bolts and they were good. This was a factory rebuilt trans with a new torque converter from a tranny shop about 2 years ago, the owner said to run any dextron trans fluid in it, so I did. I don't have my book in front of me to double check that. I plan on servicing the trans this week sometime, and to check the pan for any surprises. I certainly hope someone out there can shed some light on this problem to help me out. Thanks, Todd
