Instrument Panel clicks on/off immediate after starting engine

When I start the engine of my 2010 Ford Escape, the instrument panel & radio clicks on and off several times. After a few minutes, it stays on and remains on until the next time I start it up. There doesn't seem to be any other issues; the engine starts up fine, no dimming lights, etc. Any idea what this might be?

    My gas light stays on when driving regardless of fuel level and the info panel keeps blinking and does not shut off when turning the car off. Did you find out what your problem was? Also where the n, s, e, w direction is by the time panel a cal keeps flasing?
