Hello,
I have a dakota that will not turn over. gages all work. no click when trying to start. It just doesn't turn over. I can hear the fuel pump replay, switched all the relays concerning the starter around, even replaced the starter. nothing.
I jumped the little wire that goes to the starter and all it does is turn over.
I couldn't check for spark at that time.
so, I think whatever happened effects more than one thing--at least starter and spark? What could do that? Crankshaft position sensor? Neutral safety switch? Teh brain?

When it was driven last. It was simply shut off and still sits where its at, no warnings. Just boom. No crank. Battery brand new...
