2016 Toyota Mirai - Edmunds Road Test

In stark contrast to both Scott and Ed's opinions on the seats in our long-term 2016 Toyota Mirai, I am not a fan. It has nothing to do with the shape. It's everything else that I have problems with.

    How credible is this source of info from a guy that bought a Fiat 500 for his wife? Lol, is it at least the Abarth...

    If I recall correctly, Toyota only uses real leather in the Land Cruiser. Everything else uses a material called Softex, which is a synthetic leather imitation. I've never been a fan of it; it feels cheap. The one benefit is that it's easier to maintain.

    Again, I could be wrong about what models they use it on but I'm pretty certain that's how the lineup works.

    Also, the 500 is cool -- certainly cooler than any other micro-car.
