I'll admit. When I saw the photo of the bike wheel & tire in front of the truck wheel & tire, for a moment I thought Edmunds had bought some sort of gimmicky junk to try out for "max traction" or "increased fuel economy". Then I saw the title of the post. And don't say Edmunds wouldn't buy something useless. Y'all keep buying FCA products. Except the Wrangler. I don't have a problem with the Wrangler.

By the way...we need a Yugo update.

Maybe it makes you grin because your mountain bike has rear disc brakes but the truck doesn't.

:D I kid, I kid. I know the issue has been beaten to death and I understand why they use drums on these. I'm just havin' some fun.

I am close to pulling the trigger on an extended cab. I have a sport motorcycle. I have not quite figured it out yet, but I think to load it I would pull the tail, put a motorcycle ramp up, load it diagonally, put the tail on, then add the bed extender. I am getting the truck for other reasons so if this does not work well I am open to towing a bike trailer instead of denting the truck or adding painful work to the process. We'll see.
