Searching new tires for 2013. Does it matter what brand?

I'm looking to replace all 4 tires for my H 2014. My budget is $150 to $170. This is for regular commuting driving in Houston, TX. I'm looking at the Michelin - LTX A/T2 from Costco. I see other brands (Bridgestone) for less.

Does it really matter what brand you get?

You might go on tirerack's or discount tire's web sites, compare the models that fit your car, see what folks say about ride, wear, etc. I've used a number of name brands, have been happy with them (Michelin, Pirelli, Yokohama, and Goodyear). I'd avoid store brands or no-name brands.
