2000 Chevrolet Jimmy stopped working

Our Jimmy jusr stopped working at an intersection and wouldn't re-start. No power to vehicle and wheels locked. Hubby checked cables but they all seemed fine.

Any answer or feedback graciously accepted. Thank you!

    Hello! First, I really need more info to attempt a diagnosis of the problem. By "wheels locked", are you saying the drive wheels are locked, or all the wheels are locked, and is this two wheel drive, four wheel drive, all wheel drive, or part time, like traction control? And if it is four wheel drive, is the transmission automatic or manual? Since you can turn the key switch, can you also move the shift lever, and does it move freely like before? Do you have electrical power on the acc setting such as radio, does the headlights come on when switched to the on position? I would begin by cleaning and re-tightening the battery cables, and see if this returns power to anything at all. If not, pull the main fuse and test for continuity, if good put it back, if not replace of course. And please post back with more info. Good luck.

    Ya need a whole lot of info. It's like going to the doctor, all symptoms and mileage are needed
