    I would have left it to sit overnight at the dealer - you don't get two chances to do this right. Even for a car with a solid roof, I would do that. For this comparatively flexy convertible, taking it out and driving it right away is not smart...but of course I would be approaching it from the perspective of it being my own car and sacrificing immediate convenience for a long-term gain. For a long-term test, I would take the long-term owner approach.
