Cars with Short Seat Cushions or Adjustable Seat Cushion Length

Hi! I am a short driver and am trying to find cars that have either a short drivers seat cushion or adjustable driver seat cushion length. I have been test driving cars and many seats are too long. For example-the Subaru Legacy seat is much too long for me. The Subaru Forester is shorter but the seat cushion still hits the back of my knees. I'm not limiting my search to Subaru- or any particular brand-these are just examples of cars I've test driven so far. At this point, I'm open to any car that could offer me a seat cushion that can meet my needs. (Then I'll narrow by price, etc). I'm looking for a car seat cushion that is more ergonomic and allows a few centimeters gap between the end of the cushion and the back of my knees. Could you possibly give me a list of some cars that offer these kind of adjustments or shorter seat length? Thanks so much!!!

I've had a couple of cars with adjustable length seat bottoms. One was a 2002 BMW 5-series, the other is a 2010 Mercedes E-class. Mostly it's an optional feature on luxury cars, but there are a few "regular" cars that have it as an option or on higher trims.

I did a little Googling and came up with a few. This is not a complete list. Only Mercedes actually had a list of the cars that offer their multi-contour seats, which add a length adjustment. It's optional on just about all of these.

    Toyota Highlander and Avalon
Mercedes-Benz: E, CLS, S, SL, GLE, GLS, and G classes
BMW 3 and 5 series (presumably 7 too)
    Audi A6 and A8
Lincoln MKX and the upcoming Continental
    Cadillac ATS, CTS
    Lexus RX350, LS460
    Hyundai Equus
VWs with "18 way" seats. Not sure which models offer these. Phaeton?

My Googling didn't turn anything up for Honda, Acura, Nissan, Infiniti, Ford, Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Subaru, Chrysler, Jeep, or Mazda.

Add a thick seat cushion to your seat instead of going on a wild goose chase to search cars with adjustable or short cushions . You may not like the car you will have to buy or will be more expensive. Seat cushions can be had from 20 - 150 $.

I'll be curious to hear what you end up with.

Some of those cars are probably going to be a big disappointment. I suspect many of them don't really have a short setting, just average-tall seat length settings.
