2009 Cobalt Door Problems

I have a 2009 Cobalt. The Doors locks will not lock or unlock with the Key Fob. It started with the Fob and slowly progressed. The door switches work periodically . I live in Phoenix. This happens when the weather is hot. When I hit the button on the door I may hear the sound but there is not enough power to actually unlock the doors. They the system dies on me. It mimic the battery dying and not having enough power to unlock. But that is not the case as the car runs.

Has anyone encountered this issue and successfully fixed it.
