New battery smaller than battery box. Problem or not?

I just bought a new battery from Autozone for my 2003 Montero Sport lx awd. They assured me this is okay for my Montero and the cold start rating of 600 is correct. But the battery is smaller than the battery box. Is this a problem or not.

    Vibration will shorten the life of the battery so I'd be concerned unless you have a way of securing it inside the box. (atbatt.com)
