Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? Care of Convertible Top

I am a recent owner of a 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata. I am wondering if the convertible top needs any special care, other than simply washing it when I wash the rest of the car, to prevent sun damage, fading and dry-rot as it ages.

    Do you keep it garaged?

    Congrats on the new car!

Yes, but over the years, the sun will tend to deteriorate the convertible's cloth top.

Only takes about two here and you see a lot of trashed Miata tops around. :)

Dunno, it's been decades since I've had a soft top (that one, on a Jeep, barely lasted three).

I'll send some people this way - stand by.

Raggtopp Fabric Cleaner and Fabric Protectant are good products; I use them on my Wrangler's top.
