Hello,

I have a nissan rogue 2012 , it is about 26k but as of late, i notice after driving for about 5 mins, there is a weird sound, which i don't know where it is coming. I thought at first something or a metal is stuck on the tire but no. It seems when i press on the accelerator it gets louder. The noise stop when i stop driving (on park or on a red light). Has anyone ever experienced it? i can't really explain the noise, more like whirring continuous sound.

Hi Jacobson, i have the same problem, the same sound of metal in my tire. I just want to know if you resolve your problem and what is the problem?!

COULD BE THE SHIELD INBOARD OF THE DISK BRAKE. IF YOU RECENTLY HAD ONE OR MORE TIRES TAKEN OFF THE CAR, THE SERVICE PERSON MAY HAVE DRAGGED THE WHEEL OFF AND BENT THIS SHIELD AND THAT'S NOW RUBBING AGAINST THE ROTOR OF THE DISK BRAKE. THIS IS WHAT I EXPERIENCED WHEN I PUT MY SNOW TIRES ON AND MADE THIS MISTAKE MYSELF
