Hello All,

Just opened my account for this issue. I have a honda accord 2004 coupe lx.
A small history on the car, I have some air flow issues where idle air control value was dirty which caused the car to stall when it was idling. I did my cleaning but wasn't enough so I increased the idle screw to make the car idle at 800-900 rpm instead of 600-700 where it normally was.

Everything seemed fine till a week ago it started not letting me click the gear switch when I start the car. The switch works fine when car is not started and only working on battery. I read on some pages that break switch could be bad so I replaced it but didn't solve the issue. Im pretty sure what I did with the idling increase is causing the computer to think I am giving gas so it doesn't let me switch gears. Does this make sense. Or is there some other problem I am not noticing.

Thank you in advance for the help.
