Unbelievable, so many issues in just one year.

I bought a 2012 Acadia SLT1, and have had so many issues. My husband has had a gmc 2500 truck for years and we have had good luck with it, so I thought I would give it a try. Big mistake, first the bluetooth didnt work, had it checked, thought it was a fuse, replaced it...still didnt work. Battery drained if not driven daily. Replaced battery, same problem, took it to dealer, they took at the fuse from earlier and told me to live with no bluetooth and that resolved the draining of battery. That is not an answer to the problem. Then it would run hot if idling, replace waterpump at dealer. So I ask the service tech to explore the car and fix ANY issues. and they say replace belts and regular maintenance issues...which added up to 1300.00+. Also had to replace a door motor on airconditioner, as has been mentioned here many times. Blew air hot on driver side, cold on passenger. They also did a fuel induction service. After getting the car back, that day I notice a surging when at 1400 rpms, didnt notice it before taking it in. 2 weeks later air conditioner stops cooling, Back to the dealer, Theres a leak in freon, cant find leak. Refill freon and add red dye. 2 weeks later, its not cooling properly, back to dealer, Theres a leak, Still cant find it. Dye did not help find it. So in 2 more weeks I am sure it will stop cooling again and I am stuck in a loop of constantly refilling freon ???..So while I was at the dealer I ask them to check out the surge I could feel when the car was at 1400rpm.. They call on Friday afternoon, cant figure out whats going on with air conditioner and not sure on the surge, but could be Torque Converter. Wanted to keep it over the weekend and let another tech look at it on Monday. Monday they call, well they think it needs the Torque converter replaced and a valve body and Transmission Control Body? 2809.16 is the estimate. Soooo, I havent had the car a year yet, and if I have this repair made, I will have spent over 5000.00 on repairs. And I see here that most of those repairs are a recurring problem for the Acadia owners , blower door motor, airconditioner, and now transmission issues..GMC you have a problem, you should address the issues and help your customers, or lose your customers. As for me, I am having the car looked at by another tech. I am now in the market for a new car, and am doing my research to see which makes and models have the fewest issues. It is definitely not GMC's Acadia judging by everything I have read here and elsewhere, and by what I have experienced. Beware buyers.
