2006 PT Cruiser A/C

My pt cruisers A/C recently had gotten warm. It was never ice cold to begin with but would fluctuate. It went completely warm and I had the ac refilled and the mechanic said there was no sign of a leak. Fast forward four days and now it is warm again. What could this be?
