My VW Beetle 1999
I have been having this problem with my car for about a year or so and it only happens about once a month or so. I'll be driving on the freeway and all of a sudden my car will slow down about 10mph for about 3-4 seconds and then it suddenly goes back up 10 mph. Very weird. I don't have any smoke coming out of the back any where. But today all of a sudden it is driving really ruff as if something is clogged?? I also have been smelling exhaust latley. So my question is do you think it is my fuel filter (clogged) and needs to be replaced or could it be and exhaust leek?? If anyone has had the same problem and fixed it could you please help me. I don't have the money to take it to the shop. Thanks so much, Kim
