    That's actually better than the Model S. Tesla needs to copy Caddy and use the rear view mirror/camera they use. It may be a GM exclusive for a bit but I'm sure the supplier will sell them some.

    If you've read the news lately...it's not just to the rear that apparently has some visibility issues. Tesla is already making sure to reiterate that the Driver is ultimately responsible for being in control of their vehicles. Plus, the driver that died had previously posted a video of his Model S "saving" him from being side-swiped. In addition, they're saying that he was "possibly" watching Harry Potter in the car while driving. The meme generators must be going crazy.

    Or you can use the rearview camera which can be active during driving which gives you a perfect view of everything behind and slightly to the side as well of the car. Just like you can with the Model S.

    You can also flip the third row seat headrests down without folding the entire seat making the view less obstructed.
