Mazda3 Leasing and Trading-in Questions

Hello all,

I'm brand new to this forum and to leasing. So I'm here to seek help and make sure I don't get screwed. I'm looking to lease a 2016 Mazda3 sGT 5-door with Tech package.

I currently have a 2014 Mazda 3 that I am financing, but I have positive equity on it. Looking to trade it in, I have read users saying not to apply positive equity you get from a trade-in onto lease down payments, because of risk of losing that money in case of an accident or total loss. But I'm not sure why.

Lease terms I'm not too sure about, but I definitely need 12k miles, preferably 15k. Open to 24 months or 36/39, depending on which one will be the best deal.

So with all that being said, I've seen many people requesting the MF and RV for specific vehicles and lease terms. I understand how the RV works, but I'm still trying to figure out how to factor in the MF.

Can I please have the MF and RV for a 2016 Mazda3 sGT 5-door with Tech package for 12k and 15k miles, as well as 24 and 36 months?

Thank you very much in advance.
