If you've skimmed the other CR-V Prices Paid discussion, you've read that Texas isn't great for Honda deals and the Dallas area seems a little worse than Houston.

Invoice is $23,353, MSRP is $24,645 and TMV is $22,991. The "base" invoice before the $900 destination and a $150 ad fee is $22,303. I don't think consumers should pay ad fees but you can't avoid destination. So let's call invoice $23,203. You can check my numbers here.

So the TMV average price paid in your aeaa is about $212 below invoice. You get a little bit extra off for buying a black car in the SouthWest. :)

Your quote before taxes and fees is about $1,900 below invoice.

That's an excellent number for Texas. You could shop the quote in Houston, but my guess is that the difference will be slight and not worth the hassle or the drive.

The dealer just called in and said there is another 1495 added to the quoted price which is propac dealer prices.
The total OTD is now going up to 24,500
what is your opinion on this price for an LX CRV.

    Propac is junk.

    Can I interest you in a Mazda CX-5? ;)
