    moving 2 people at a time ain't very efficient for a hybrid.

    What percentage of any vehicle time on the road is spent with two or fewer occupants? If someone is able to eschew backseats in their car, it makes sense to neither pay for them up front nor suffer the inefficiency of the additional dead weight.

    Sure, the CR-Z wouldn't work for everyone's living situation, but those who can accommodate a minimalist two-seater are really underserved by the current market. A person shopping for new Hondas in the US would now have to settle for an HR-V; even that subcompact crossover seems wasteful to just drive alone to the office and the grocery store.
