    "Reviews" such as this are helpful, I suppose, to somebody who might be contemplating how a particular vehicle fits into one's lifestyle. However, the first new car I ever purchased -- a 1986 Honda Accord LXi hatchback (for $12,108.05 out the door in California, and VIN JHMBA5348GC039072, which I still remember )-- easily accommodated my 63cm road bike (25" frame for you non-metric types) with 700cm (27") wheels without needing either wheel removed, or any modifications to the bike of any kind, save removing the water bottle so it wouldn't leak. Bottles have gotten better, and I guess cars have too, but that car averaged 32 mpg and I drove it 204,XXX miles with the original clutch! And three sets of tires, the last having 84k miles. Ah, the good old days. I still have the bike, but the car is long gone. The 2nd owner (teenaged son of a co-worker friend) totaled it not long after.
