The next step in a full resolution of the Volkswagen diesel-emissions scandal hit a roadblock on Wednesday as the California Air Resources Board rejected a recall plan for 3.0-liter V6 TDI diesel vehicles, calling it "incomplete and deficient in a number of areas."

    Leaves me to wonder if their gasoline engines or other diesels have this software installed. and what other companies have this?

    Most of the EU diesel makes (at least the models sold in Europe) have been accused of cheating by various groups and Nissan is under fire in South Korea for cheating. And some law firm has sued GM claiming that the Chevy Cruze diesel cheats here in the US.

    Give it time for the gassers to come under fire.

    That's fine. If California doesn't want these cars then they can sell one to me in Nevada at a steep discount. ;)
