Toyota Highlander AC

I have a 2008 Highlander sport and the AC only blows cold air out of the passengers side. It's intermittent though. Sometimes it gets cold as passenger side but mostly not. Is the Amplifier, HVAC Control Module to blame?

    Well, I experienced such sometime ago. The repairman topped up the freon and it worked again. But I'd also like to hear from anyone who knows was really is the problem
