    I need a simple answer to a basic question regarding the "Variable EQ" also on my 2013 Sonata Ltd: I am an audio 'purist', and don't abide any unnecessary processing. Does the "Normal" EQ position of this feature remove the Vari-EQ function completely from the chain, or does it subtly alter the sound in any way?

    If even Normal isn't completely out of the chain, then I will need to ask the dealer if they can use the same computer they hooked up to my dash to select a heavier steering mode(less electric steering boost) to find out if they can disable variable EQ entirely.
