    Will anyone be sad to see this car go? The one-liner conclusion I've drawn from following your 12 months with this car is, "With its compact size and offroad capability the Renegade showed promise... but with its quirky, ineffective transmission it failed to deliver."

    The Trailhawk has that small lift, (relatively conservative) AT tires, and underbody protection, so those mileage figures are not altogether shocking. It's likely that the stickered MPG is more closely-matched to one of the other 4x4 trims without the extra kit.

    And even though the last EPA mileage ratings scheme was supposed to account for reasonable real world use of trim-specific features, it's well-known to hardly be a stringently-monitored system.
