Throttle cleaner left in throttle body and I drove off!
I just took my 2016 mazda 3 i touring, 2.0L with 19,000 miles to the dealership for a routine car maintenence. When I drove out of the parking lot, then turned to go onto the street I gave the car some gas. Immediatly the engine seized up and started jerking and all my interior dashboard lights turned on, then it just died. I took it back to the dealership and it took them 2 days to figure out the problem. They had not drained the throttle body cleaner out of the throttle body. They said they fixed it by flushing the cleaner out and told me that everything is fine now, but the car is now diving funny. Its very jerky and not right when I give the car gas, it also jerks when its iddleing. Ive also pushed on the gas pedal to go and nothing happens, they car wont accelerate. Is my engine ok, since I drove it with cleaner in it? Are there long term effects from this? I don't trust them to take it back to them but I want to know what the heck is going on. thank you
