    I agree the braking system is terrific on my 2017 Volt. The first few inches of brake pedal travel is full regenerative braking, feeling different from hydraulic brakes only in slightly less bite. The system will switch from regen to hydraulic during light braking just before you completely stop, or earlier in hard braking, and then the only sensation is a brief and almost imperceptible forward "lurch." It really is a well-engineered system. I like watching my gauge cluster to see the power transmitted back to the battery on regen. No complaints from this owner!
