    We used to have to experience these "here - hold my beer!" moments live and in person, but now we can preserve them for posterity (and YouTube Fail Army uploads) with a Go-Pro!

    You still need a buddy whose job it is to remain conscious and call the first responders, though, while you're busy making your selfie-on-steroids.

    In some parts of the world that is probably a very practical and popular feature. YouTube videos from Russian dashcams show that having a dashcam in Russia is a darn good idea, cuz getting a reasonable person to believe the story of how some other idiot totaled your car in such a spectacular way would be hard any other way.
