What an idiotic marketing guy! Whoever buys a platinum Armada could easily get the similar price QX80, which is a much better choice.
No wonder Nissan is going down.

I like the SL model but wish Nissan would offer the blackout 20" wheels as an option. Also, the wheel well trim is a gray/silver that is meant to contrast which I find cheapens the look. Why not offer a matching trim as an option?

It is a seven speed transmission, not a 5 speed as stated in this article.

I don't see it for only married large families as their target market. I am buying it because it is the famous Patrol vehicle and like I like to drive around in large SUVs. It for me only! Many one or two person business will be in the market for this vehicle too.

The local Nissan dealership said in October when they will get the first one in but no test drive till later on?. I bit confused so I test drove one at local Infiniti dealership and went back to the Nissan dealership to order it and was facing red tape on ordering and price. I just went to an online buying service for cars and got it done!

Here is a PSA. Dont buy a Nissan Armada ever. The Armada' resale value, even for the Platinum, is unbelievably ridiculous. In addition, we have had issues with the transmission computer. While my wife was driving on the highway, the Armada engine bogged down and would not go above 25 mph. They fixed it and told us it needed an upgrade. Less than 6 months later, here we are on Christmas Eve and its back in the shop again. Frustrated, we started looking at a possible trade. As usual the salesman came in with his normal pitch and we told him what we were willing to accept. Then came the Hulk Hogan power slam....$33000 upside down. How does a 60K vehicle lose half its value. I expected 10-15K upside down, but that was insane. Bottom line, guess we are keeping our POS till I can get the wife into a better vehicle.

    Color me pissed.
