The wiper blades on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma are easy to change, but the auto parts store database recommended a size that didn't match what was on the truck.

I'm just surprised that you already need new blades. Y'all haven't had the Tacoma all that long. Think they degraded from sun exposure?

They don't have any problems, so naturally you will get posts like wiper replacement. LOL

Some say 22 and 20 and some say 22 and 21...found this in a three-minute search on my iPhone. This is the kind of thing that happens when parts chasing, so, since it hardly ever rains there, why were you in such a rush to get them replaced that you couldn't take the time to deal with the conflicting info and research it?

Or just take them off and into the store with you...you eventually have to take them off anyway to put the new ones on, so where is the time savings in waiting until you already made the purchase before removing the old ones, which would have gotten you the right sizes the first time?

Yeah, new wiper blades on a 2016??? I'd almost ask for a warranty replacement if they weren't so relatively inexpensive.

I routinely change mine once per year or thereabouts. Sun, heat, smog, relatively low humidity, a lack of rain, infrequent garaging - these do not play well with wipers. In the Tacoma's case add off-road grit and sand to the mix.
