It's well-documented in our experiences with the 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk that the transmission has issues. But, there's a way to live with it.

We got it a year ago. We're currently in the process of selling it. We keep our long-term cars for a year. Sometimes they get more than that. This one just got 5000 extra miles thanks to a trip to Detroit and back. Not sure what's so dumbfounding about that.
Should have gotten the Renegade Sport instead; people actually like how it drives. The Renegade Sport is one of those cases where less is more.
